Just a couple of pics of the removal truck, everything arrived in one piece except the table on top which had its legs knocked off when driving under a tree-oh well!
All arrived safe and sound! (and very hot and tired from long hours on the road!!!)
Someone thought it would be a good idea to discover the bush by a different means of travel to usual...donkeys!! In theory a brilliant idea, in practice none of us managed to stay on our donkeys for the entire trek. It was good fun though despite a few bumps!
.........And of course we had an audience to watch the whole saga!
ok so whilst driving up north with my sister we saw a herd of wild giraffes (the last in west Africa) by the side of the road so we stopped to take some photos and got arrested for not having a guide?! after 5 hours of slightly heated talks with the forest guard who basically wanted a $900 bribe (fat chance!) we got away with a fine and a wasted day, Brilliant. Who makes up these laws, they are ridiculous!!!! the giraffes were very beautiful though.....
And here are a couple of photos of the culprit!!!! (the dog that is...........not me) under our mango tree which produced the grand total of 2 mangoes this year.
Someone found the dog on a rubbish dump when she was just a couple of weeks old so she is now our fierce guard dog!
Our dog woke us up at 4 am one day going "woof woof squeeel woof woof squeel" I think she found out the hard way that hedgehogs aren't good to eat! we rescued 2 in 2 nights - very cute!!!
